Islamic Bank (SIB) has received the “First Successful Data Submission Award” from Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB), it said in a statement on Thursday. AECB provides services for creditors to help financial institutions and credit providers make quick and accurate credit decisions, resulting in better risk management practices and better debt management, for consumers. Earlier in June, SIB was recognised among selected UAE-based banks for the implementation of AECB processes. (Staff Report)
