To get your Credit Report, you will need the following:

  • Emirates ID Number
  • Passport Number (Optional)

You can use also your Smartpass ID to login and purchase the report. For more information on Smartpass, click here.

In case you would like to authorize a third party to apply for a Credit Report on your behalf  from one of our Customer Experience Centers, you will need the following:
  • Copies of your valid Emirates ID card and passport(s).
  • The signed individual report request letter (Download here), signed and stamped by a UAE licensed Bank.

To get Credit Report - Companies please visit our Customer Experience Centers and provide a copy of the company's Trade License and signed request letter (Download Here). The name of the person signing the letter must be written in the Trade License as either the manager/owner/partner. The signature must be verified (signed and stamped) by a UAE licensed bank.

Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) collects information on individuals and companies from banks, finance companies and telecom companies. Additional information from other sources such as utilities, real estate, government and other entities will be added in the future.
To resolve inaccurate information in your report, you will need to contact your Information Provider who can correct and update your records. For Information Providers contact details, click here.
  • We are mandated by Law to collect & consolidate all credit information from Financial Institutions in the UAE and update it regularly.
  • We provide access to credit information with consent of the concerned individual or company.
  • We register and raise credit information disputes to the concerned Data Provider if you are unable to reach a resolution.
  • We only update disputed credit information based on corrections received from Financial Institutions.
  • We do not make decisions to accept or reject applications for credit facilities.
  • You should ensure that your personal information (Emirates ID, Passport Number, mobile phone, email) is updated with your Financial Institution.
  • You should check the accuracy of the information in your Credit Report.
  • You should request the Data Providers to correct related errors in your report.
  • You should consider reviewing your Credit Report on a regular basis.
  • Financial Institutions in the UAE are mandated by Law to supply AECB with all credit information on a monthly basis.
  • Financial Institutions are required by Law to obtain consent of the concerned individual or company before accessing their credit information.
  • Financial Institutions are required by Law to address raised disputes and supply AECB with the corrected information as soon as possible.
