Management Team from Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB),the UAE's sole provider of credit report, recently made visits to the Saudi Credit Bureau (SIMAH) and Qatar Credit Bureau to exchange ideas and experience, and discuss plans of credit bureaus in the region.
Al Etihad Credit Bureau Management Team, led by CEO, Marwan Ahmad Lutfi, along with Senior Executives from the bureau’s Data Management, Customer Service and IT departments, discussed the challenges faced by SIMAH and Qatar Credit Bureau during their initial stages of implementation of their systems and services, and explored the key development areas to be considered for the future.
The visits also provided an opportunity for Al Etihad Credit Bureau to build bilateral relationship and strong ties with other regional credit bureaus, establishing the potential for future collaborations and exchange of knowledge and experience.
Marwan Ahmad Lutfi, CEO of Al Etihad Credit Bureau, said: “The visits to both bureaus were very valuable, especially at this stage of the project as we are in the final stage of preparations to become operational. Collaborating and exchanging knowledge as well as sharing experience with other bureaus will play a pivotal role in achieving our goals and strengthen our development.
